How Malwares Infiltrate Your Computer

Malware, also known as Malicious Software, is composed from the words "malicious" and "software". This is a collective term for all types of damaging software such as Trojans, Spyware or Viruses.  It is softwares designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent.

Malware threats such as virus, worm, spyware, adware are common nowadays.  To avoid malwares infiltrating your computer, your pc has to have good and workable anti spyware which is constantly updated.  Despite having a good anti spyware sometimes malwares do find its way infiltrating your computer.

So, what is the cause of infiltrating your computer without you knowing it?  It is mainly because you surf websites which contain negative stuff or information.  If you are not into these negative stuff or information, then it is possibly because you have been trick by banners or illegal free softwares.

Here are the major reasons how malwares infiltrate  your computer.  

  1. Surfing porno sites
  2. Downloading illegal movies and music.  Normally the websites providing illegal movies and music would require you to download and install special downloading software prior t0 downloading illegal movies and music.  Malwares are normally embedded in the downloading software
  3. Downloading illegal software.  Malwares are usually embedded in the crack or keygen. Sometimes the crack and keygen itself is the malware.
  4. Peer to peer software
  5. Clicking on internet advertisements (except from reputable companies such as Google, Yahoo!, etc)
  6. Fake security software
  7. High risk free software.  However there are reputable free software that you can download 
  8. Dangerous websites and scripts.  By using good internet explorer such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome will help you identify dangerous websites
  9. Opening email from unknown sender.  It is extremely dangerous to open this kind of emails especially any executable files that are attached with the email
 
It is always a good habit to update your anti-malware software at least once a week  and scan your computer at least once daily for malwares after you have finish browsing the internet.
